High School Outreach

The International College maintains long-term partnerships with local high schools by sending international students to high school campuses to engage in English interaction and cultural exchange. This initiative promotes cross-cultural understanding while strengthening IC students’ communication skills, cultural awareness, and sense of social engagement.

Cross-Cultural Education

Guided by the principles of University Social Responsibility (USR), faculty members lead both local and international students to high schools to design and conduct cross-cultural exchange activities. Through these initiatives, the International College extends international education to pre-university levels and fulfills its educational and social responsibilities.

Local Environmental Action

The International College actively participates in community service initiatives, such as sand dune cleanup activities in the Taoyuan area. Through hands-on involvement in local environmental actions, students develop environmental awareness, civic responsibility, and teamwork skills, connecting academic learning with social practice.

With extensive experience in English-Medium Instruction (EMI), the International College supports other colleges within the university in their transition toward EMI teaching.
